Luther's Blues is no more
This makes me really fucking sad.
Troubled Luther's Blues closes its doors
Luther's was my favorite place in the city to see a live show. Just the right size, great ambiance, great everything. It was where I first saw the Decemberists, and the Old 97's, and the Jayhawks. And now it's gone. I can only hope that whatever new tenant they find will open a place half as awesome, but I'm not holding my breath.
