And a happy new year to you - IN JAIL!
What can I say; I'm just fond of the "It's a Wonderful Life" line. Happy new year to all, in jail or not. It's funny to think that last year on New Year's Eve I was in Manhattan, wearing glittery 2005 glasses and pajamas, being all sorts of loud and crazy and social. This New Year's Eve, I was finishing up recovery from my virus-from-hell and bonus cold, sitting on the couch with my family enjoying the drunk comedic stylings of the ABC Chicago news crew. (Best Mark Giangreco line: "Did you see Mariah Carey earlier? Linebacker Barbie!") I was, however, wearing pajamas again.
I was going to include an amusing scan as a new year's present today, but it looks like it will have to wait another week or so while my sister finds the photo. Don't get too excited, but it should be at least mildly entertaining.
Okay, I need to go put pillowcases back on my pillows now. Happy 2006, everyone! Here we go.
