Best of Yahoo! News headlines

The Yahoo! homepage is one of my favorite places to look for breaking news. I use Yahoo! for email, so I'm there pretty often. They always have five or six top stories lumped together on the right side of the page. Yahoo! tends to stray a bit toward stupid entertainment headlines masquerading as news, but it mostly keeps up a valiant respectable news front. Which makes quality headlines, when they come along, all the more amusing. In the past couple of weeks I've noticed some particularly good ones. Here are a few:

Giant mice on south Atlantic island eating seabird chicks alive

Malibu attempts to tame excessive filming (I think it's mostly the use of "tame" that gets me here ... and the impression of people helplessly breaking into bouts of filming)

And my favorite:

Experts: Latest London Blasts 'Amateurish'

That one just slays me. Way to taunt the terrorists, guys! "Try to be a little more impressive next time, boys, won't you?"
